Framing

I use only the highest quality framing materials - well-built solid-wood frames, 100% archival acid-free mat and mounting materials, and museum-grade anti-glare, UV-blocking "masterpiece glass". These photographs represent an heirloom-quality investment, which will last a lifetime.

Most of the photos in the Gallery are shown framed with my standard framing. This is either a 1-inch or 1.5-inch plain black wood frame, with a white mat. Mat size depends on the size of the image, but generally runs 2 to 4 inches on each side. These images are typically also available un-framed.

Exceptions to the above rule are images that I only sell as large-scale prints on canvas. These are shown un-framed, because that is how they are meant to be hung. These images are printed on quality canvas using standard giclee printing. The printer coats them with a UV-protective finish, so they are very durable. The canvas is then stretched over gallery-style (1.5-inch deep) stretchers, using a "gallery wrap" - the image wraps around the side of the frame, rather than leaving the sides white. Thus, there is no need for a frame! This is a very clean, modern look, which works well with the subjects that I've chosen to present in this format.

Our standard shipping method is FedEx ground. We ship from our studio in Skillman, NJ 08558. Shipping charges will be calculated accordingly.
