This was one of a pair of cheetahs who were stalking a herd of Thompson's Gazelles.
They came from way downwind, and walked right in front of us, intent on watching their prey.
Eventually, the Gazelles moved further away, perhaps because they sighted the Cheetahs,
and these two lost interest, at least for the time being.
Utterly graceful, amazingly powerful and fast, these are beautiful creatures.
But if you look closely in this photo, you can see this one is surrounded by a swarm of small flies!
